Biography - Gabriel Martin

Gabriel is a local filmmaker who grew up in Blandford Forum. He completed a National Diploma in Audio Visual at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth and continued to study filmmaking at The Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now known as the University College for the Creative Arts), completing a BA(hons) in Digital Screen Arts.

In 2006 he gained broadcast credits as both a cameraman and editor, working for a London production company. Notably being the cameraman for Danish Television (Denmarks Radio), covering the Muslim demonstrations against the published Danish cartoons. Also filming and editing a Topshop fashion show for London fashion week amongst other credits.

He now lives in Dorset working with video for the Bryanston School and as a freelance filmmaker; undertaking many different projects including news items for ITVlocal.
